2020 has been a tough year for everyone and my hope is that you carve out even more time for self care and support during these wild and crazy times...and, may you stay safe and be well. I am also happy to report The Thermography Center will resume offering 100% safe, radiation-free screenings in San Luis Obispo at Powersource again once a month on Thursdays.
We are continuing to adhere to strict screening protocols. We will do our very best to insure your good health so you don't feel you are risking viral exposure if you leave your home to get your annual or initial Thermography Screening. We want to assure our clients that our offices are clean, and we are doing everything in our power to protect both YOU and ourselves.
We want to share with you some of the things we are continuing to do to insure your safety when you come in for your appointment:
-We clean the room between each client, making sure to sterilize all surfaces, door handles and equipment.
-We are taking everyone's temperature before your screening. We also ask if you have any illness symptoms that you call our office and reschedule your appointment. In the past, we could complete your breast screening if a client was recovering from a cold, as long as the client didn't have a temperature. Until the Covid pandemic is under control, we will adhere to stricter guidelines.
-We now use disposable paper gowns.
-Clients are asked to wait outside or keep safe social distancing before and after their appointment. We ask that our patients arrive at their scheduled appointment on time so that we can maintain a schedule that allows for physical distancing. Please also be sensitive to leaving when your appointment is finished in order to help support the comfort of the patients scheduled after you.
-We are requiring masks on every patient. If you come in without a mask or simply don't have one, we can give you one. You can keep it on during your breast screenings, but if you are scheduled for a Full Body Scan or Head/Neck Scan then you will be asked to remove the mask temporarily in order to take these particular images. We will also be taking extra precautions; wearing a mask, gloves and goggles.
