Is Joint Pain & Stiffness Impacting Your Quality of Life?

Having served as a chiropractor in San Luis Obispo for the last 23 years, I know that the ability to play with your kids (or grandkids), to enjoy your favorite activities, sports and the pleasure of a simple walk around the neighborhood requires sturdy or robust joint health. Or how about the freedom to leisurely work around the house, gardening, laundry, freely traveling up and down the stairs, or sometimes, even just getting out of a chair? My experience as a chiropractor has shown me that joint health is ever important!

Fact is, these concerns and the reality of joint deterioration are no laughing matter, and even worse, it seems almost inevitable that normal lifestyle and age-related joint problems will plague nearly everyone at some point for a multitude of reasons.

First of all, many people experience joint challenges as they age. Aging bodies don’t recover from joint challenges the same way, or in the same time frame, that they did in the past. Through decades of wear and tear, joint degradation will always be a natural part of the aging process (unless you are doing something to proactively address it).

Weight can also be a factor. For every 10 pounds you're overweight, an extra 48,000 pounds of pressure is exerted on your knees, ankles and spine with every mile walked.  Just think of the enormous burden that is placing (and has placed) on your joints, especially over time.

A poor diet, especially one high in pro-inflammatory foods like refined carbohydrates and low-quality oils (found in extreme abundance in the typical American diet), further contribute to inflammation and intensify joint problems many times over. Fresh fruits and vegetables, complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and lean proteins are good general dietary additions to support joint health.

And even for the avid exerciser, the more you use your joints, the more wear and tear they receive, and ultimately, the more joint problems develop over time.

In the end, whether you're overweight, getting older, or even healthy and highly active, joint discomfort is something you're probably dealing with right now, and again, unless these issues are brought under control, they will only continue to intensify over time and become increasingly more devastating.

You can start combating your joint pain and problems today by starting our 10-day Inflammation Program. This will jumpstart you to feeling better and more importantly, getting you back into the life you deserve!
